On the front, a water-resistant, outdoor-grade VELCRO® fastener lets you attach a secondary box or another accessory.
3-point magnetic closure, opens with one hand. Box is NOT WATERTIGHT, but it has a silicone gasket that reduces water ingress.
When open, the lid is limited to a 100° opening angle.
Includes 2 side dividers and one center divider. The innovative design of this product provides unmatched visibility, with all fly-storage surfaces visible horizontally. Only one side of the center divider (optional) displays your flies vertically.
All storage surfaces are fitted with slotted foam inserts. These inserts can be stored in a separate box in the future..
Total storage capacity (depending on fly size) is 1,608 flies.
The box has 2 side slots for bottle holders. These holders fit bottles ranging from wide (such as High & Dry) to slim (such as Loon), stored upright or upside down. A compartment for 3 spools is located at the back of the box. It slides out and locks to the box magnetically. Fits line spools up to 69.5mm in diameter (Rio spools). Two optional spool reducers are available: a wide one that reduces the interior space to 61mm (fits Ayu and Trabucco spools) and a slim one (fits TroutHunter spools), which reduces it to 66.5mm.
