On the front, a water-resistant VELCRO® fastener designed for outdoor use lets you attach a secondary box or another accessory.
3-point magnetic closure, opens with one hand. Box is NOT WATERPROOF, but it has a silicone seal that reduces water ingress.
When open, the lid is limited to a 100° opening angle.
With the inner flaps, one side is in a vertical position, so visibility is more limited than on the Original model.

All storage surfaces are fitted with slotted foam inserts. These inserts can be stored in a separate box in the future..

The box has 2 side slots for bottle holders. The holder fits both wide bottles (such as High & Dry) and slim bottles (such as Loon), stored upright or upside down. A holder for 3 spools is located at the back of the box. It slides into place and locks onto the box magnetically. Fits line spools up to 69.5mm in diameter (Rio spools). You can choose from 2 spool reducers: a wide one that reduces the interior space to 61mm (suitable for Ayu and Trabucco spools) and a slim one (suitable for TroutHunter spools) that reduces it to 66.5mm.
